Part IStreet Betting and Arcades
1 Street Betting Prohibition
(1)Any person frequenting or loitering in streets or public places on behalf either of himself or of any other person for the purpose of bookmaking or betting shall be guilty of an offence.
(2)A person guilty of an offence under subsection (1) shall be liable to a fine not exceeding £10 for a first offence, and £20 for a second offence.
2 Amusement Arcades and Machines
(1)No amusement machine requiring a coin for operation shall be kept for public play unless the stake does not exceed one penny (1d.) and any prize does not exceed one shilling (1s.) in value.
(2)The Gaming Board may grant amusement permits upon annual payment of a duty of £5 per premises.
