Part IFishery Limits and Conservation
1 Territorial Fishery Limits
The Isle of Man Board of Agriculture and Fisheries shall exercise supervisory jurisdiction over all sea fisheries within the territorial waters of the Isle of Man.
2 Close Season for Herring
(1)The Board may by order declare a close season during which it shall be unlawful to shoot nets or take herring within the territorial sea.
(2)Any master of a fishing boat who acts in contravention of a close season order shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding £50.
Part IIMesh Sizes and Landing
3 Undersized Fish and Drift Nets
It shall be unlawful to land, sell, or expose for sale any sea fish of less than the minimum statutory lengths prescribed by regulation, or to use drift nets possessing mesh of insufficient gauge.
