Part ICustomary Estates
1 Abolition of Ancient Feudal Burdens
All customary lord's rents, quit rents, and alienation fines formerly payable to the Lord of Mann shall be extinguished and replaced by absolute freehold ownership subject to registration.
2 Fencing and Boundaries
Every occupier of enclosed agricultural land shall maintain sufficient boundary sod hedges or stone dykes to prevent sheep and horses from trespassing upon adjoining quarters.
Part IITrespass and Stray Stock
3 Impounding Stray Cattle
The owner of land upon which any sheep, pig, or beast wanders unlawfully may drive such stock to the parish pinfold, where the keeper shall detain the animal until payment of the statutory pinfold fee of one shilling (1s.) per head.
