An Act to regulate wireless telegraphy, apparatus, and broadcast reception; to levy broadcast receiver licences; and for connected purposes.

Part IRegulation of Apparatus
1 Broadcast Receiver Licences
(1)No person shall establish or use any apparatus for wireless telegraphy or wireless broadcast reception except under the authority of a licence granted by the Postmaster General.
(2)The annual licence fee for a sound broadcast receiver shall be £1.
(3)The annual licence fee for a combined television and sound receiver shall be £4.
2 Unlicensed Use
Any person who installs or operates any wireless apparatus without a licence shall be guilty of an offence and liable to a fine not exceeding £10.
Part IIInterference
3 Deliberate Radio Interference
No person shall deliberately use any apparatus so as to cause undue electrical interference with wireless telegraphy or broadcast communications.

4 Citation
This Act may be cited as the Wireless Telegraphy and Broadcasting Act.
