Part IPlanning Schemes
1 Planning Schemes for Urban Areas
The Douglas Corporation and the Town Commissioners of Ramsey, Peel, and Castletown may prepare planning schemes regulating the density, line, and elevation of buildings along promenades and streets.
2 Preservation of Amenities
A planning scheme may prohibit the erection of advertising hoardings or unsightly commercial structures tending to injure the natural beauty of the glens and coastline.
Part IIMunicipal Byelaws
3 Power to Make Byelaws
Town Commissioners may make byelaws for the regulation of bathing beaches, open spaces, and street order, imposing fines not exceeding £5 for any breach thereof.

This Act may be cited as the Isle of Man Town Planning and Byelaws Act.
