Part IPerjury in Manx Courts
1 False Swearing Before Deemster or Magistrates
(1)Any person who on oath lawfully administered before any Deemster, High Bailiff, or justice of the peace knowingly and wilfully makes a false material statement shall be guilty of perjury.
(2)Every person convicted of perjury shall be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding seven years.
2 Subornation of Perjury
Every person who shall unlawfully solicit, suborn, or procure any other person to commit perjury shall be liable to the like punishment as the principal offender.
