An Act of Tynwald to regulate the sale, import, and possession of poisonous substances and narcotics within the Island; and for connected purposes.

Part ISale and Distribution
1 Poisons to be Sold Only by Chemists
(1)It shall be unlawful for any person to retail, dispense, or compound any poison unless he is a legally registered chemist under the Manx Pharmacy Act.
(2)Every packet or bottle containing poison shall be distinctly labelled with the word "POISON" in bold characters.
2 Narcotic Controls
No person shall import, sell, or possess opium, morphine, or cocaine except under licence granted by the Lieutenant Governor.
Part IIPenalties
3 Penalty for Unlawful Sale
Any person who violates the provisions of this Act shall be liable on summary conviction before a High Bailiff to a fine not exceeding £50.

This Act may be cited as the Isle of Man Dangerous Drugs and Poisons Act.
