Part IAllowances and Expenses

1 Members’ Annual Expense Allowance

(1)There shall be paid out of the General Revenue of the Isle of Man to each elected member of the House of Keys an annual allowance of £50 in respect of his attendance and expenses.

(2)The Speaker of the House of Keys shall be entitled to an additional annual allowance of £25.

2 Chairmen of Boards

Any member of Tynwald who serves as Chairman of a statutory administrative Board shall receive an additional annual allowance of £150.

Part IITravelling Allowances

3 Travelling Expenses

Members residing outside the borough of Douglas shall be entitled to reclaim the standard railway fare or mileage allowance for attending sittings of the legislature or board committees.

4 Citation

This Act may be cited as the Isle of Man Members of Tynwald Allowances Act.
