Part IBroadcasting Regulation
1 Licensing of Transmitting Stations
(1)No person shall establish, maintain, or install any wireless transmitter or broadcast station within the Island or its territorial waters without a licence granted by the Lieutenant Governor.
(2)The fee for an commercial broadcast transmitting licence shall be £100 per annum.
2 Prohibition of Unauthorised Maritime Transmissions
(1)It shall be unlawful for any vessel stationed or anchored within the territorial waters of the Isle of Man to broadcast speech, musical entertainment, or advertisements to the public without statutory authorization.
(2)The master and owner of any vessel used in contravention of this section shall be liable to a fine not exceeding £100, and the transmitting apparatus shall be liable to forfeiture.
