Part IClaims Against Government

1 Civil Actions Against Boards

(1)Any person having a civil cause of action against any Board of Tynwald or department of the Isle of Man Government in respect of any contract or tort may institute proceedings in the High Court of Justice of the Isle of Man as of right.

(2)It shall not be a defence to any such action that the department or Board acts as the servant or agent of the Lord of Mann.

Part IIExecution and Enforcement

2 Satisfaction of Court Orders

No property or premises belonging to the Government of the Isle of Man shall be subject to seizure or execution by a Sheading Coroner, but any sum decreed by the court shall be paid by the Treasurer of the Isle of Man out of the General Revenue.

3 Citation

This Act may be cited as the Isle of Man Crown Proceedings Act.
