Part IThe Lord of Mann

1 Confirmation of the Lord of Mann

(1)His Majesty King ob2035 is hereby acclaimed and confirmed as Lord of Mann, possessing all ancient rights, honours, and regalities appertaining thereto.

(2)The executive authority of the Island shall be exercised by the Lieutenant Governor appointed by and representing the Lord of Mann.

Part IIThe Legislature

2 The Authority of Tynwald

(1)The Lieutenant Governor, the Council, and the House of Keys, in Tynwald assembled, shall possess full power and authority to make laws for the peace, order, and good government of the Isle of Man.

(2)No Act of Tynwald shall have force of law until it has received the Royal Assent of His Majesty and has been promulgated upon Tynwald Hill in both the English and Manx languages according to ancient custom.

3 Citation

This Act may be cited as the Lordship and Constitution of Mann Act.
